BLOCKCHAIN PROPULSION is pleased to be invited to participate in the 3-day official Swiss Business Delegation programme to South Korea “Zurich meets Seoul” — taking place in Seoul from September 30th to October 2nd 2019.
BLOCKCHAIN PROPULSION will partake in the business mission under the leadership of Carmen Walker Späh, President of the Government Council and Head of the Department for Economic Affairs for Canton Zurich, and Corine Mauch, Mayor of the City of Zurich. In addition, ETH Zurich, University of Zurich, Zurich University of Applied Sciences, Zurich University of Arts, as well as the Embassy of Switzerland in the Republic of Korea, will be taking part.
The purpose of the delegation is to provide exclusive insights into the South Korean economy and business environment, a top strategic market for BLOCKCHAIN PROPULSION given the dynamic growth of the blockchain/crypto industry in Korea over the past few years. During this important business mission, BLOCKCHAIN PROPULSION will also announce the opening of its new “Propulsion Hub” in Seoul, with an official signing ceremony backed by Switzerland Global Enterprise (S-GE) – demonstrating the commitment and strategic ambition of the Swiss-based global accelerator to also become a Korean government-backed and licensed Blockchain Accelerator Program, enabling Korean startups and enterprises to launch successful blockchain-powered businesses, while contributing to strengthening business relations between the two great nations, Korea – the leading “Tiger Nation” and Switzerland – the leading “Crypto Nation”.
The delegation will also provide an excellent platform for networking among participants and local business representatives, including local government officials, to showcase Switzerland as ‘open for business’ and to present Zurich as a fantastic location for culture, science, and innovation. BLOCKCHAIN PROPULSION anticipates a fruitful mission that will build upon the already strong ties established between Switzerland and Korea, two of the world’s most innovative countries with leading global companies across many industries.
